divide and rule
- distract
with gaudy baubles
- dreams of also
being rich and glitzy.
Is that how
the rich and power
-ful elite
have held so much
power
for so long?
If so, it is we
not they,
who deserve
the most soundest of
condemnations,
for our mindless,
thoughtless,
and passive ...
acquiescence.
